HOLIDAY ACTIVITY PROGRAMMES
"MTF has been proud to run holiday activity and food programmes in partnership with StreetGames for over six years. These camps are incredibly popular, with spaces filling up quickly. Children receive
four hours of quality coached provision, including a meal. Children entitled to free school meals receive four free sessions during the winter and spring holidays, and 16 free sessions during the summer holidays. We have also introduced a blended approach, opening our sessions to children not on free school meals at very affordable prices, ensuring no child misses out on the fun.
Participants are exposed to a wide variety of activities and can choose to attend both our multi-sports camps at Saltley Wellbeing Centre and our creativity camps at St Paul's Centre in East Birmingham. Sports activities include football, basketball, badminton, cricket, tennis, dodgeball, archery, axe-throwing, and fencing, among others. Creativity camp activities include cooking, woodwork, slime making, arts and crafts, den building, sustainability workshops, drama, dance, VR experiences, nutrition workshops, mental health support, first aid workshops, animal handling visits, and trips — with something new introduced at every camp so there's never a dull moment.
