"MTF Coaching Academy has been very busy since the beginning of the year transforming Bachelors Recreation Ground, Bordesley Green, especially the entrance opposite Kenwood Road which was a major fly tipping hotspot.

It was one of those spots were once cleared by the council another occurrence of fly tipping would appear and this happened on a regular basis. MTF Coaching Academy decided to tackle the issue as our kids use that entrance to the park for training sessions and close-by residents
were frustrated.

We are proud and happy to say that since then there has been no fly tipping and the area is still looking superb as you can see from the photos.

​

We would like express our gratitude to Veolio Environmental services for funding our project and also to Aldi and other generous members of the community who helped with the raw materials.  All planters were put together from reused materials such as tyres, sleepers and pallets. A big thank you to all the members of the MTF team and volunteers who helped put the project together.

 

We have a small request from everyone to try and keep the area tidy. If you see litter, please do pick it up and bin it.  We will have litter pickers and bin bags available during our sessions on Sundays for anyone wishing to assist in keeping the area.
